Strategic HR Lead

Our client is hiring a Part-Time Strategic HR Lead to support the next phase of growth of a scaling advisory business.
We are an energy and infrastructure advisory firm working with investors, developers, and corporates across the energy transition.
As we scale, we are building a lean, high-performance consulting organisation and need the right HR leadership to support it.
This is an on-site role in Rosebank, Johannesburg. 

The Role

This is a strategic, hands-on HR role, not an administrative one.
You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to:
  • Design and implement a high-performance culture
  • Support team structure and organisational design
  • Lead recruitment for key roles (advisory, commercial, operations)
  • Implement performance management frameworks (KPIs, OKRs)
  • Support compensation structures and incentives
  • Build scalable people processes for a consulting business

What we’re looking for

This role is best suited to someone who has:

  • Experience in professional services/consulting environments
  • Built or supported growing teams (10–40 people)
  • Strong understanding of performance-driven cultures
  • Experience with senior hiring and leadership teams
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
